Genuine luxury starts with details - Plus Oultre

The new Elegance 64 "Plus Oultre gives its' name great honour. This yacht not only promises but also maintains what it promises. Since this summer, the Elegance 64 is the show yacht of the 20m class of Drettmann International, the successful Elegance yachts broker on the Balearics. However, what is so special about the Plus Oultre, which promises should keep this boat?

Here is a small extract of a well-known internet encyclopaedia: "From ages on the columns of the "Herakles" have been the frontiers of the habitable world, this was the "Non plus ultra" (here was the end). During 16th century when the Spanish kings started to extend their empire in America, in their opinion they contravened successfully against the view of "no further – here is the end" and modified the saying in Plus Ultra (which means: "further - over and above that"). They put the columns of the Herakles with a banner in the Spanish coat of arms, where they are until today as a kind of a sign holder. Originally, this was the personal symbol of the emperor Karl V., who was already king of Spain before his election to the Roman-German emperor. The original version was in French, Karl's native language, and to read Plus Oultre. One says that the columns of Herakles (combined with the coat of arms "Plus ultra") is the graphical sample for the development of the dollar sign $ which is valid until today. The US-American Dollar was developed out of the Spanish-Mexican Peso, which had the old Spanish-American symbol on its' coins.

You also could say, that with the Elegance 64 "Plus Oultre" the limit in the 20m class is reached.
